Mr. Prashant Dhingra was born in Ernakulam, Kerala—a region at the heart of India’s rubber trade. Surrounded by the rhythms of plantations and processing units, he entered the rubber business world at the young age of 18, learning the intricacies of rubber cultivation and supply. Through hard work and vision, he expanded operations by setting up integrated plantations and processing facilities that catered to the growing demands of India’s industrial sector. He also expanded in the manufacturing of rubber automotive parts for the trucking industry in Ludhiana, Punjab .

Work on the job and travel, made him recognise the country’s evolving needs; he identified a new opportunity in the real estate and infrastructure space. Starting with land trading and the development of apartment complexes, he gained valuable experience that led to the founding of DHI—a modern real estate and infrastructure company rooted in a deep legacy of entrepreneurship. DHI has since grown to serve multiple sectors including housing, healthcare, and education and hospitality, responding to the dynamic needs of a developing nation.
